How to find the application folder?

There are two ways to find the Combin folder.

The first way is a manual search by the following paths, depending on OS:

Windows: C:/Users//AppData/Local/Open Media LLC/Combin/Combin/

Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Open Media LLC/Combin/Combin/

Linux: ~/.local/share/Open Media LLC/Combin/Combin

While the method was always performed successfully by Windows and Linux users, Mac users often struggle finding the folder by the above path due to the fact that mac OS has several Library folders by default. If you are a Mac user and experience the same issue, do the following:

Open Finder and the Go menu, then press the Option button on your keyboard. An additional ‘Library’ option should appear after that. Click ‘Library’ and find the Application Support folder there, then ‘Open Media LLC’ and ‘Combin’ folders respectively.

The second way to find the application folder is through Combin directly and it works for all operating systems:

1. Quit Combin. Make sure it’s not open in tray/task manager.

2. Launch the application.

3. Press the Alt/Option button on your keyboard 3 times in a row.

4. The ‘Show Data Directory’ option should appear in the Help section of the menu.

5. Click the ‘Show Data Directory’ and the application folder will be automatically opened.
